Política de plagio y autoplagio

The journal has a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism and self-plagiarism (when an author reuses their own work without proper citation or without following editorial guidelines). All manuscripts are evaluated using specialized software to detect matches and ensure the originality of the content. Suspicious cases are referred to the Editorial Ethics Committee for review. Penalties include rejection of the article and, in severe cases, notification to the author’s affiliated institutions.

The anti-plagiarism program we use is iThenticate. The software scans and highlights textual matches, helping to identify both plagiarism and self-plagiarism. The comparison results are presented in a detailed report, showing the sources and the percentage of similarity.
