Author Biography

Sonakshi Srivastava, Indraprastha University

A Tempus Public Foundation fellow, Sonakshi Srivastava is an MPhil candidate at Indraprastha University, Delhi. She previously graduated from the University of Delhi, and her works have appeared in OddMagazine, Feminism in India. She is the copy editor (English) at Bilori Journal. She has been the recipient of the national story writing competition, “MyStory Contest” organized by TATA LitLive, the international literature festival of Mumbai thrice. Her short stories have also been anthologized, and at the moment she is one of the current recipients of South Asia Speaks mentorship programme where she is working on translating the Hindi novel, “Titli” into English under the mentorship of the esteemed translator, Arunava Sinha. Her translations have appeared, or are upcoming in Rhodora Magazine, Swatantra journal etc.
