La dinámica de la polarización política en Argentina y Brasil

Análisis comparativo del discurso político en Facebook durante las elecciones nacionales (2018-2023)

Resumen

Este estudio examina la dinámica discursiva en Facebook durante las elecciones presidenciales en Argentina (2019, 2023) y Brasil (2018, 2022). A través del Análisis de Redes Sociales (ARS) de 1.581.910 publicaciones, investigamos cómo interactúan actores políticos, medios y ciudadanos en torno a temas políticos, económicos, de género y religiosos en contextos de alta polarización. Los resultados revelan que, si bien los discursos políticos y económicos estructuran las redes, los temas de género y religión actúan como factores de cohesión o expansión, generando los picos de engagement más significativos. Además, el estudio identifica un campo gravitacional político donde actores nucleares atraen atención masiva y actores satélites adaptan mensajes a microaudiencias, amplificando la polarización.

Lucas Durr Missau, Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (Brasil)

Lucas Durr Missau, investigador posdoctoral en la Escuela de política y gobierno de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín. Es doctor en Comunicación por la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), Buenos Aires, Argentina y periodista en el Departamento de Ciencias de la comunicación de la Universidade Federal de Santa María (UFSM), Brasil. Actualmente, investiga el rol de los influenciadores en sistemas políticos polarizados, especialmente en Argentina y Brasil, analizando las estrategias utilizadas por actores políticos y mediáticos.
