The supply contracts of electrical energy: nature and problems in arbitration clauses

Abstract

The paper analyzes the legal nature of electricity supply contracts for regulated customers subscribed between electricity distribution concessionaires and generation companies, through the system of public and regulated tenders. in particular, it analyzes the public nature of these contracts and the implications of this legal nature as a limitation to the application and jurisdiction derived from the arbitration clauses contained in these contracts.
